It’s Friday, which means that I woke up languidly and ready to throw all of my energy into a weighty project. That’s the reverse of most people, I’m sure, and certainly the reverse of my old job, but I’m quickly learning that consulting is a frenetic business: so far this week I’ve worked on 18 different projects for 7 different clients involving 5 additional vendors. I’m ready to immerse myself in data for a while!

Before I get to work, though, I am super excited to show off the gorgeous new graphics for 2 Girls. 2 Cats. 1 Big Apple.! If you’re viewing in a feed reader or through email, be sure you click through to the blog to see our new header, designed with love and playfulness by Dodi Tolchin of LGT & Associates (website coming soon). She also created the logo image that’s serving as my Gravatar and the photo on all of my social profiles, and a few other pieces for the blog that I’ll be loading once I figure out how to edit the CSS structure. I am so, so happy with her work — I’ve been feasting my eyes on the cuteness since I first opened the files yesterday! Corrin came up with the concept of a “from the bike” view of NYC, and Dodi created a beautifully lighthearted sketch from our notes — she nailed it on the first attempt.
