Tomorrow, I’m presenting at the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ conference on philanthropy: Fundraising Day in NY. Along with my co-presenter, Kelley Stewart (whom some of you know well from our joint days at the American Cancer Society), I’ll be offering insights to representatives of nonprofit organizations on how they can best optimize their peer-to-peer fundraising events to have the greatest impact on their mission. Read my 200-word overview at the SankyNet blog.
I’m very much looking forward to the presentation and the day. I love peer to peer fundraising, and adore Kelley; she always makes me feel smarter, faster, and better than I am on my own — so we should have a pretty dynamite hour of conversation and fun. If you’re coming to the event, look me up in the Special Events track of presentations or at the SankyNet booth in the exhibitor hall, #116.
And if you’re looking for a bit of an escape at noon, there may be a group of us kicking off our shoes and stretching sore muscles in a 10-minute “Sanky Stretch break”. But that’s a bit of a secret.
